The World History course is prepared as a survey, giving the students an overall picture of world history from its beginning through the reformation. Emphasis is put on segments of history that directly relate to Western civilization. Our basic aim is to make history come alive for our pupils by teaching the events of the past in relation to the present. Students at this age are not far from active participation in the affairs of the world. Their minds are ready to be guided into critical thinking and problem solving as they study man's search for a pattern and a higher level of culture.
